  • Flaconi Chief Commercial Officer Thomas Faschian moves to newly created Advisory Board

Berlin, January 31, 2020 – Flaconi will in future be supported by an Advisory Board consisting of top managers and industry experts. The board will advise the company on the topics of industry relations, purchasing, sales, e-commerce and internationalization. In the course of this, Thomas Faschian, CCO of Flaconi since 2016, will move to the new Advisory Board on June 1, 2020.

Industry expertise for the Flaconi Advisory Board

In addition, two more top managers will complement the Flaconi Advisory Board from February 2020: Olaf Schepers, member of the management board of the watch and jewelry retailer Christ, will advise Flaconi from February 2020 with his extensive retail experience, especially in the areas of purchasing and sales. Retail and e-commerce expert Delphine Mousseau, with over 20 years of experience in the fashion industry, will also join the Flaconi advisory board from February. In this role, she will support the company in its digital growth as well as its internationalization.

Change in Flaconi management

Thomas Faschian is retiring from day-to-day operations in his role as Chief Commercial Officer and part of the Flaconi management team at the end of May 2020. “After almost 25 years in the beauty industry, I have decided to take on new professional challenges,” explains Faschian. He will hand over his business areas to Dr. Steffen Christ (COO), Benjamin Ludigs (CRO) and Kathrin Nusser (CFO) in the coming weeks. Through his advisory board function, Flaconi will continue to benefit from Thomas Faschian’s experience and contacts in the beauty industry.

Faschian joined Flaconi’s management team in 2016. Thomas Faschian has been working in the cosmetics industry for more than 25 years. His first station was at L’Oréal Germany from 1996 to 2006, where he was, among other things, managing director of the cosmetics and body care brand La Roche-Posay. He then served as executive director at Estée Lauder Companies, where he was responsible for the international luxury brands La Mer, Bobbi Brown and Jo Malone. Before taking over as CCO of Flaconi in 2016, he was responsible for the pharmacy brands Vichy, La Roche-Posay, SkinCeuticals and Roger & Gallet as Division Sales Manager at L’Oréal Germany in Düsseldorf.

Olaf Schepers is part of the management team of the watch and jewelry retailer Christ and, in addition to sales, is responsible for the development of new brands and product ranges. He has extensive retail experience in the functions of purchasing and sales. Previously, he was responsible for German purchasing as Managing Director at Parfümerie Douglas. In this role, he played a key role in driving the company’s product range development and supplier management. From 2008 to 2014, Schepers led the Beauty, Accessories and Toys divisions at Galeria Kaufhof as Purchasing Manager.

Delphine Mousseau is an expert in retail and e-commerce and has been working in the fashion industry for over 20 years. On her way through the retail world, she worked as Director E-Commerce Europe at Tommy Hilfiger and as Vice President Markets at Zalando, among others. In addition to her work as a Flaconi Advisory Board member, she also works as an Independent Director for the French retail group Fnac Darty and as a speaker and consultant.
